What it is for

A damage code names physical damage found on the object: "dent", "crack", "corrosion".

Service Management and Plant Maintenance keep these codes in one shared list; each screen saves its own codes into it. Notification Request offers only the codes saved on the Plant Maintenance screens (damages excepted). Maintenance Order, Service Request (symptoms and faults) and the operation lines of Service Order offer the codes of both. Damage areas exist only on the Service Management screen and are offered to both.

How to configure it

Add one line per value the business uses. Keep the codes short and the names in the words the staff use. The name is stored in every language the company works in; the one you type is kept for your language and copied to the others until someone translates it.

Scenarios

  • A new value is needed during live work. Add it here; it is offered at once on the documents that use this list.

What it is connected to

If something looks wrong

  • The value is missing from a list on a document. It was not saved here, or Block is ticked on it where the screen has that box.
