Service Level
A service level names a promised response ("gold: 4 hours", "standard: next day") with its completion unit and working calendar.
What it is for
Service levels are kept for reference. A service agreement group stores a service level; no save checks response times against it.
Every field in plain words
| Field | What it means | What to put |
|---|---|---|
| Service Level | The code or number of this record | A short unique code, or the next number when a number range is set up. Required. Cannot be changed once saved |
| Name | The name | Free text. Required |
| Completion Unit | Unit the completion time is counted in | Pick from the list. Recorded only |
| Completion | Completion time | Free text. Recorded only |
| Calendar | Working calendar | Pick a calendar |
| Block | Stops the record from being picked on new documents | Leave clear while it is in use |
How to configure it
Add the levels your contracts name.
Scenarios
- A maintenance contractor sells gold and silver contracts. Two levels, kept for reporting.
What it is connected to
If something looks wrong
- Late jobs are not flagged against the level. Nothing measures response time against a service level in this release.
