Service Area
A service area is a part of a workshop ("mechanical", "body shop", "wash bay") and holds its bays. Operation lines of a service order can name the area and bay where the work is done.
What it is for
The Service Area and Bay columns appear on the operation lines of Service Order when Service Area Required On Line and Bay Required On Line are ticked on Service Management Setting. The area code must be unique; a second area with the same code is refused with "Service Area Cannot be Duplicate".
