Storage Structure
A storage structure: which storage levels an item's stock must name, and at which level it is valued.
What it is for
The lines are the storage levels (site, warehouse, location). Required makes that level mandatory on documents; purchase and sales lines refuse a missing warehouse when the warehouse level is required. Valuation on says at which level stock is valued: only the site level may be ticked.
Every field in plain words
Header
| Field | What it means | What to put |

| Block | Marks the record as blocked. | Tick to retire it |

How to configure it
There is nothing to configure beyond the fields above. Which fields are shown, required or hidden can be changed per company by the consultant in the screen configuration.
Scenarios
- A distributor tracks stock per warehouse but not per shelf. Require site and warehouse, not location.
What it is connected to
- Release Item In Legal Entity - Storage Structures on the item
- Site and Warehouse - stock by site and warehouse
- How do I make stock lines name a storage location? - when the warehouse keeps bins.
If something looks wrong
- "Only 'Site' can be marked as validation TRUE. Warehouse or StoreStature cannot be selected." Untick Valuation on for the warehouse and location lines.
