Manufacture
A manufacturer: a code and a name, picked on items, brands, models and quality points.
What it is for
The manufacturer is picked on the Item when Specific Manufacture is ticked, on the Manufacturer list of an item in a company, on a Brand, on a Model and on an inventory quality point. Only manufacturers that are not blocked are offered.
Every field in plain words

How to configure it
There is nothing to configure beyond the fields above. Which fields are shown, required or hidden can be changed per company by the consultant in the screen configuration.
Scenarios
- A pharmaceutical company buys one API from two approved makers. Make both manufacturers here, then list them on the item's Manufacturer list with their approval dates.

If something looks wrong
- "... can not be empty" on Save. The code is missing. Type a code.
- "... already exists" on Save. Another manufacturer already uses this code.
- A manufacturer is not offered on the item. It is blocked. Untick Block.
