Delivery Mode
A delivery mode: a code and a name, such as By Road or By Air.
What it is for
The delivery mode is picked on customers, purchase orders, incoming shipments, sales quotations and orders, outbound shipments and rental documents. It is a reference value; no calculation depends on it.

How to configure it
There is nothing to configure beyond the fields above. Which fields are shown, required or hidden can be changed per company by the consultant in the screen configuration.
Scenarios
- An exporter ships some orders by sea and some by air. Make both modes and pick one on each sales order.

If something looks wrong
- "... can not be empty" on Save. The code is missing. Type a code.
- "... already exists" on Save. Another delivery mode already uses this code.
