Resource

A resource is one machine, tool or person in the plant. It is what a maintenance request, order, reading or plan is about.

What it is for

Resource Type, Resource Group and Site are required. Picking the group fills the costing from it. The Calendar tab gives working calendars by date; two calendar lines may not overlap ("Calendar - Line ID: … overlaps with Line ID: …") and Date From cannot be after Date To ("Date From cannot be after Date To"). A resource code must be unique ("Resource Cannot be Duplicate").

The warranty and acquisition fields are recorded only.

The Component tab has no column registration for this screen in this release and shows nothing; components named on maintenance orders come from the resource as kept elsewhere.
