A maintenance notification is meant to be the confirmed version of a notification request, which a maintenance order can answer.

What it is for​

In this release the screen opens with the layout of Resource Reading: a Notes field and a reading grid that belongs to another screen. None of the notification's own fields (number, category, resource, malfunction, observations) is on the layout, so a notification cannot be entered.

This matters because the Notification Request field of Maintenance Order lists maintenance notifications, and a maintenance category with Required Maintenance Notification makes that field required.

Nothing can be configured until the layout is corrected. Clear Required Maintenance Notification on the categories in the meantime.

  • A planner wants to turn a request into a notification. Not possible in this release; raise the maintenance order directly.
