Resource Reading
A resource reading records the values read from the meters of one or more resources at a date and time.
What it is for
Each line is one reading of one resource and reading ID. Rules on save:
- A resource and reading ID once per document ("Line ID: … Resource is duplicated with Line ID: …").
- On a measuring counter, a reading must not go against the counter direction compared with the last reading ("Line ID: … - Reading value cannot be less than last Reading value …" or "… cannot be greater than last Reading value …").
- Opening is only for the first reading of a meter: once a reading exists at or before that date and time, the type must be Current ("Line ID: … - Reading Transaction Type cannot be Opening for this Reading ID: …").
- A reading cannot be dated before the opening reading ("Line ID: … - Reading Date cannot be smaller tha Opening Reading Date: …").

How to configure it
Record an Opening reading per meter when going live, then Current readings.
Scenarios
- Going live with 20 machines. One document with an Opening reading per machine hour meter; the weekly rounds after that are Current.

If something looks wrong
- Save is refused with "… Reading value cannot be less than last Reading value …". The meter was misread, or it was replaced: record a new opening on a new reading ID.
- Save is refused with "… Reading Transaction Type cannot be Opening …". An earlier reading exists; use Current.
