Maintenance Order

What it is for

Pick the Maintenance Order, then an Operation: only operations not yet confirmed as completed are offered. Tick Completed when the operation is finished (Remaining Work becomes 0). The Resource Utilization tab records who worked and how long; the Item tab what was used (item and quantity above zero).

Saving a confirmation does not issue the items from stock and posts nothing. Issue spare parts with an inventory issue (Item Issue).

  • The fitter finished replacing the seal in 3 hours with one seal. Confirmation for that operation, Completed, 3 hours on Resource Utilization, the seal on Item.

What it is connected to

If something looks wrong

  • The operation is not offered. It already has a completed confirmation.
  • Save is refused with "Maintenance Order: Item Lines - Line ID: … - Item cannot be Empty" or "… Quantity cannot be Zero or Negative". Complete the item line.
  • Stock did not go down. The confirmation does not issue stock; post an inventory issue.
