An issue document against picking list lines that were completed. It is not on the delivered Inventory menu; Item Issue To Picking List is the issue screen in use.

Every field in plain words​

The header has Posting Date, Transaction Journal, Movement, Site, Warehouse, Origin no (required, typed: the list that would offer origins is switched off on this screen), Notes and Posting Status. The lines have Item No, Name, Item Variant, Special Indicator, Stock Category, Stock Status, Site, Warehouse, Storage Location, Movement Unit, Movement Quantity, Batch/Serial Number with expiry, potency, yield and certificate fields, and Line Text.

What happens on Save​

The quantity per picking line is checked against the completed picking line, then stock goes down and the voucher posts as on every issue. See How stock documents work.

If something looks wrong​

  • "Basic Data - Line ID: ... - Picking Quantity: ... cannot exceed Balance Quantity: ... of Item: ... in Picking List : ..." - more than left on the completed picking line.
  • "Issuance Line ID: ... - Posting Date: ... cannot be smaller then Item Requirement Posting Date: ..."
