Maintenance Strategy
A strategy lists the cycles preventive work follows: "monthly", "quarterly", "yearly". A maintenance plan takes its cycles from a strategy.
What it is for
Each line is one cycle. Value is how often it falls, counted in the plan's scheduling periods: 1 every period, 3 every third period. Initiation Horizon % decides how far before the plan date the call date comes.
Rules on save:
- At least one line ("Maintenance Strategy Lines cannot be empty").
- A Strategy Plan code once only ("Line ID: … Plan is duplicated with Line ID: …"), and without spaces.
- Hierarchy not greater than Sequence.

Pick the Strategy Indicator first; it cannot be changed once saved.
Scenarios
- Monthly greasing, quarterly inspection, yearly overhaul. Three lines with Value 1, 3 and 12 on a strategy counted in months.

If something looks wrong
- Save is refused with "Basic Data - Line ID: … - Hierarchy cannot be greater than Sequence". Lower the hierarchy.
- Save is refused with "Basic Data: Line ID: … - … - Remove Space From Strategy Plan ". Remove the space from the code.
