Resource Reading Setup

A reading set-up defines one meter of one resource: an hour meter, a counter, a pressure gauge. It is also the list service orders pick their reading points from.

What it is for

For a measuring counter (reading type MC) the Counter Direction decides the check on Resource Reading: a + counter may not go down, a - counter may not go up. The limits on Measuring Point are recorded only.

The Reading ID list here is also what the Reading tab of a Service Order offers.

What it is connected to

If something looks wrong

  • A lower reading is accepted. The set-up is not of type measuring counter, or has no direction.
