Stage
A stage is a construction milestone: foundation, structure, finishing, possession. On a stage-based sales agreement, each payment line can be tied to a stage.
What it is for
When a Sales Agreement uses the Stage billing condition, its payment lines carry a Stage and a Payment %. The stage is a label for the line; the agreement does not watch construction progress, and nothing falls due by itself when a stage is reached.
Every field in plain words
| Field | What it means | What to put |
|---|---|---|
| Stage | The code | A short code. Required |
| Stage Name | What the milestone is called | Grey Structure |
| Block | Marks the record as blocked | Tick to mark it blocked |
How to configure it
Nothing beyond the list. The screen has no duplicate check on the code, so keep codes distinct yourself.
Scenarios
- A developer collects 25 percent at each of four milestones. Make four stages and use them on the agreement lines.
What it is connected to
- Sales Agreement uses stages on its payment lines.
If something looks wrong
- Create refuses with "Please Fill Required Fields". A field the screen marks as required in the top part is empty. Fill the marked fields, then Create again.
