Document Type
A document type is a kind of letter a buyer may ask for: an allotment letter, a no-objection letter, a statement. Templates and requests are filed under it.
What it is for
A Document Template and a Document Request each name a document type. The Query field is stored but nothing in Real Estate reads it.

If something looks wrong
- Save refuses and marks the code. The code is empty, or another record of this screen already uses it. Codes must be unique; type a new one.
