Property
A property is the thing being sold off in units: a tower, a building, a housing scheme. It belongs to a project, carries an address and a picture, and lists the categories, floors and buildings its units are described with.
What it is for
Every unit, price, agreement, maintenance rate and bill names a property. Create the property first, then its units on Real Estate Unit or many at once on Units.
The one rule people get wrong: a unit number only has to be unique inside its property, so two towers can both have a unit A-101. Always pick the property before the unit on every later screen.
Every field in plain words
General tab

| Project | The project the property belongs to | Pick one |
| Required For Maintenance | Meant to mark properties that are billed maintenance | Nothing reads it today |
| Basement 1, Basement 2 | Whether the property has these basements | Tick as built |
Detail tabs
| Tab | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Property Design | Lines of Property Category, Property Type and Property Sub Type: the classes of units the property has |
| Property Floor | One line per floor |
| Property Building | One line per building of the scheme |
How to configure it
The layout of this screen also holds three tabs that are switched off today: Pricing Validation, Allowed Discount and Payment Plan. The rules behind them still exist on save (a payment plan number is made as the property code, a dash and a two-digit line number; duplicated plans and duplicated allowed discounts are refused), but there is no way to enter them on the screen. A sales agreement's Payment Plan lookup, its pricing validation and its maximum-discount check on additional charges all read these tabs, so for a new property they find nothing.
Scenarios
- A developer builds a 20-storey tower with shops below. Make one property, list the floors on Property Floor and the categories Commercial and Residential on Property Design.
- A housing scheme has several phases and buildings. Make one property for the scheme, list the buildings on Property Building, and record the phase on each unit.
What it is connected to
- Real Estate Unit and Units create its units.
- Pricing Profile and Maintenance Pricing Agreement price by property.
- Sales Agreement sells a unit of a property.
If something looks wrong
- The Payment Plan list on a sales agreement is empty. The payment plan tab of this screen is switched off, so no plan can be entered. Build the plan on the agreement itself (see Sales Agreement).
- Create refuses with "Please Fill Required Fields". Property or Name is empty.
