Sales Organization can be used for regional market segmentation, and all business transactions are processed within a sales organization.

The Sales Organization is essential for various functions in the Sales and Distribution (SD) module, such as pricing and availability. It must be specified in all sales documents and is associated with a company code for accounting purposes. In cases where multiple plants are involved in a distribution chain, and these plants are assigned to different company codes, an internal billing document is generated to ensure proper accounting.

In summary, the Sales Organization is a vital component in structuring and managing sales operations. It enables effective sales and distribution, regional segmentation, and integrates with key SD functions.

How to Create a Sales Organization in Businessflo

  • Module: OS - Organization Structure
  • Process Code: OSSO - Sales Organization

There are two options available to navigate to this screen.

  • Click on Organization Structure -> Sales Structure -> Sales Organization
  • Write the process code for this screen in the search bar which will navigate you here directly.

The list shows the Sales Organizations already being created in the system. Now either you can click on new button to create a new Sales Organization or you can select from the list of corresponding Sales Organizations to view, edit or delete it.
