What is Category Group in Businessflo​

In Businessflo a Category Group refers to a classification or grouping of similar items or products within the system. It is a way to organize and categorize inventory or product data based on common characteristics or attributes. Category groups allow for efficient management of items by grouping them together for easier navigation, analysis, and reporting. They can be based on various criteria such as product type, industry, functionality, or any other relevant classification. Category groups enable organizations to effectively organize their product catalog, streamline inventory management, and facilitate accurate reporting and analysis within the system.

How to Create a Category Group in Businessflo​

  • Module: OS - Organization Structure
  • Process Code: OSCP - Category Group

There are two options available to navigate to this screen.

  • Click on Organization Structure -> Category -> Category Group
  • Write the process code for this screen in the search bar which will navigate you here directly.

The list shows the Category Groups already being created in the system. Now either you can click on new button to create a new Category Group or you can select from the list of corresponding Category Groups to view, edit or delete it.
