What is Cost Object Group in Businessflo​

Cost Objects can be categorized into groups based on responsibility, allowing for effective allocation of general costs. This practice proves valuable in organizing cost objects within the information system, grouping them together based on specific criteria.

How to Create a Cost Object Group in Businessflo​

  • Module: OS - Organization Structure
  • Process Code: OSEG - Cost Object Group

There are two options available to navigate to this screen.

  • Click on Organization Structure -> Cost Object -> Cost Object Group
  • Write the process code for this screen in the search bar which will navigate you here directly.

The list shows the Cost Object Groups already being created in the system. Now either you can click on new button to create a new Cost Object Group or you can select from the list of corresponding Cost Object Groups to view, edit or delete it.

To create a new cost object group, fill in the necessary details:

Now click on Save to save the information provided.
