What is Distribution Channel in Businessflo​

In the context of Businessflo, the Distribution Channel plays a crucial role as it serves as the pathway through which our products or services reach customers. It encompasses various channels such as wholesale, retail, and direct sales.

It's important to note that within our sales organization, a customer may be supplied through multiple Distribution Channels. Each channel may have its own unique characteristics and requirements.

Furthermore, it is possible for a single Distribution Channel to be assigned to one or more sales organizations. This allows for flexibility and strategic alignment in catering to the diverse needs of our customers.

How to Create a Distribution Channel in Businessflo​

  • Module: OS - Organization Structure
  • Process Code: OSDC - Distribution Channel

There are two options available to navigate to this screen.

  • Click on Organization Structure -> Sales Structure -> Distribution Channel
  • Write the process code for this screen in the search bar which will navigate you here directly.

The list shows the Distribution Channels already being created in the system. Now either you can click on new button to create a new Distribution Channel or you can select from the list of corresponding Distribution Channels to view, edit or delete it.

To create a new distribution channel, fill in the necessary details:

Now click on Save to save the information provided.
