How do I raise and complete a maintenance order?

Report the problem on a Notification Request if you use them, raise the Maintenance Order, and confirm each operation on Maintenance Order Confirmation.

Before you start​

  • Maintenance categories without Required Maintenance Notification (notifications cannot be entered in this release).

Steps​

  1. Raise the order: category, site, resource; operations with durations; parts on the Item tab; people on the Resource tab. Save.
  2. Do the work. Issue spare parts from stock with an inventory issue (Item Issue); the order does not issue them.
  3. Confirm each operation: pick the order and operation, tick Completed or give the remaining work, record resource time and items used. Save.

Check it worked​

  • The Maintenance Order list shows the order; the confirmation form prints the confirmed operation.

If something looks wrong​

  • "Operation Lines cannot be empty" - add an operation.
  • The operation is not offered on the confirmation. It is already confirmed as completed.
