How do I record a vehicle coming in and inspect it?

Record a Service Object Movement with direction IN, then an Object Inspection on the template for that kind of check.

Before you start​

Steps​

  1. Open Service Object Movement, New.
  2. Movement Date, Direction IN, Movement Reason, Service Object, then Create.
  3. Fill Tracking (date, time, transporter) and take the photos the reason requires. Save.
  4. Open Object Inspection, pick the template and the object, refer to the movement, Create.
  5. Answer the questions and take the required photos. Save.

Check it worked​

  • The object shows IN on the Service Object Movement Ledger report.
  • The Object Inspection report prints the filled form.

If something looks wrong​

  • "cannot make in document " - the object is already in. Record its OUT first if it really left.
  • "Inspection … cannot be empty" - a required question is unanswered.
