What is Functional Area in Businessflo​

In Businessflo, a Functional Area is an account assignment attribute used to categorize operating expenses based on their respective functions, enabling sorting and analysis of expenses according to specific operational areas within the organization.

How to Create a Functional Area in Businessflo​

  • Module: OS - Organization Structure
  • Process Code: OSFA - Functional Area

There are two options available to navigate to this screen.

  • Click on Organization Structure -> Enterprise Structure -> Functional Area
  • Write the process code for this screen in the search bar which will navigate you here directly.

The list shows the Functional Areas already being created in the system. Now either you can click on new button to create a new Functional Area or you can select from the list of corresponding Functional Areas to view, edit or delete it.

Process​

Now click on Save to save the information provided.
