What is Department in Businessflo​

In Businessflo, Department represent functional or organizational units responsible for specific tasks and processes. They structure operations and workflows, assigning them to relevant modules. Departments align with functions like sales, purchasing, production, finance, and human resources. The concept helps organize and manage business processes and data across functional areas within the organization.

How to Create a Department in Businessflo​

  • Module: OS - Organization Structure
  • Process Code: OSDP - Department

There are two options available to navigate to this screen.

  • Click on Organization Structure -> Enterprise Structure -> Department
  • Write the process code for this screen in the search bar which will navigate you here directly.

The list shows the Departments already being created in the system. Now either you can click on new button to create a new Department or you can select from the list of corresponding Departments to view, edit or delete it.

Process​

Now click on Save to save the information provided.
