What is Business Area in Businessflo​

In Businessflo, a Business Area is an accounting-based organizational unit that represents a clearly defined segment or responsibility center within a business organization. It typically corresponds to the highest level in the organization's costing structure, enabling effective management and cost allocation within specific segments of the business.

How to Create a Business Area in Businessflo​

  • Module: OS - Organizational Structure
  • Process Code: OSBA - Business Area

There are two options available to navigate to this screen.

  • Click on Organizational Structure -> Enterprise Structure -> Business Area
  • Write the process code for this screen in the search bar which will navigate you here directly.

The list shows the Business Areas already being created by the system. Now either you can click on new button to create a new Business Area or you can select from the list of corresponding Business Areas to view, edit or delete it.

Now click on Save to save the information provided.
