What it is for

The rule people get wrong: nothing picks a sales office today. No document or master has a Sales Office field that reads this list, and the screen is not on any menu. Keep it empty.

Every field in plain words

General

FieldWhat it meansWhat to put
Sales OfficeThe code that identifies the sales office. You type it on New, before Create.Required. A short code; it cannot be changed once the record exists.
NameThe name of the sales office, shown next to the code wherever it is picked.Required.
BlockMarks the sales office as blocked.Tick or leave clear. The pick lists other screens use for it do not check this tick, so a blocked record can still be picked.

Basic Data

ColumnWhat it meansWhat to put
SiteA site of the office.Optional. Pick from the Site list.
Line TextA note.Optional.

How to configure it

The screen allows import, so a long list can be loaded from a file instead of typed. Which fields are required, greyed, hidden or pre-filled for a company is set on Organizational Structure Setting, in its Default Parameters grid, and one user can differ through User Parameter Value.

What it is connected to

If something looks wrong

  • Save refuses because the code already exists. Codes are unique. Open the existing record from the list instead, or pick another code.
