Organizational Structure Setting
Organizational Structure Setting holds one record per company. It decides how this module’s screens start for that company (default values, required, greyed and hidden fields), and it holds the lists of address purposes and contact kinds used by every address and contact grid.
What it is for
Every module has a setting screen like this one. Its Default Parameters tab is how a consultant shapes screens for a company without changing the product: pick a screen and a field, then give a value it starts with, or tick Mandatory, Disable (shown but greyed) or Hidden. A user’s own row on User Parameter Value replaces the company’s for that user.
The Required Contact Type and Required Address Type tabs are the lists behind the Contact Nature and Purpose columns in contact and address grids.
Every field in plain words

How to configure it
Which fields are required, greyed, hidden or pre-filled for a company is set on Organizational Structure Setting, in its Default Parameters grid, and one user can differ through User Parameter Value.
Scenarios
- Every Department must start with the same responsible person. On Default Parameters, add a line for Department, field Responsible, with that person as the value.
- Users must never change the client on Company. Add a line for Company, field Client, and tick Disable.
What it is connected to
- Company - the address and contact grids read the lists kept here.
- User Parameter Value - one user’s own defaults, which win over the company’s.
- Set up a new company - set once per company, before users start.
If something looks wrong
- “Line ID: … is duplicated with Line ID: …” The same contact kind is listed twice. Remove one.
- A default does not appear. The default only fills a new document; an existing document keeps what was saved. Or the user has a row of their own on User Parameter Value.
