Business Area Dimension
Business Area Dimension is one table per client listing, for each company, which business areas belong to which business unit.
What it is for
It records the intended pairing of company, business area and business unit.
The rule people get wrong: nothing in the system reads this table today. Filling it does not restrict what a user may pick on a document, and it does not fill one value from the other. Treat it as a record of the design.
Every field in plain words

How to configure it
The screen allows import, so a long list can be loaded from a file instead of typed. Which fields are required, greyed, hidden or pre-filled for a company is set on Organizational Structure Setting, in its Default Parameters grid, and one user can differ through User Parameter Value.

If something looks wrong
- Save refuses because the client already has a table. There is one per client. Open it from the list and add lines.
