Inter Unit Purchase Organization
When one company of the group buys from another, the purchase order can raise the matching sales order by itself. This table, one per company, says which sales organization and sales group that sales order gets for each purchase organization and purchase group.
What it is for
A purchase order to a vendor flagged as inter-company looks up the order’s Purchase Organization and Purchase Group here. The sales order it raises takes the line’s To Sales Organization and To Sales Group, and the default site of that sales organization.

What it is connected to
- Inter Unit Sales Organization - the selling side.
- The purchase order itself is in Purchasing.
- Procure to pay - the purchase process; an order on an inter-company vendor makes a sales order in the sister company.
If something looks wrong
- The purchase order says “Inter Company Order: Purchase Organization is not Configure correctly”. No line here matches the order’s purchase organization and purchase group, or the sales organization has no default site.
