How do I pay the tax we withheld to the tax authority?

Use Payment with a withholding tax journal (Journal WHP). Pick the withholding lines to pay, type the CPR No and CPR Date, and pay from the bank.

Before you start​

  • The month's payments with withholding are posted.

Steps​

  1. Open Payment, pick the WHP journal. Payee fields stay closed.
  2. In Clearings pick the withholding transactions, or take them from a withholding Payment Request in Origin Number.
  3. On the CBR tab type CPR No and CPR Date.
  4. Add Payment Through and save as Posted.

Check it worked​

  • The Tax Challan Payment Report lists it.

If something looks wrong​

  • A payment cannot be reversed: "... Following Withholding Payment Request have been raised against it" Its tax was requested for paying over.
