What it is for

A Bill Of Material or Formula names its routing, and the Manufacturing Order copies the routing's operations and resources. On the confirmation the actual hours of each resource are entered and their cost is posted.

On each operation line, the Resource link opens the resources. For each resource: the hours of setup, run, wait and move, and Standard Cost Per Hour; Total Cost is the hours times the cost. The operation line shows Total Hours and Total Cost, and the header sums them.

Rules: Valid To may not be before Valid From, the routing needs at least one operation line, every operation line needs a resource, Sequence must be above zero and hours may not be zero or negative. Clone is allowed.

There is nothing to configure beyond the fields above. Which fields are shown, required or hidden can be changed per company by the consultant in the screen configuration.

If something looks wrong

• "Production Routing - Valid To cannot be smaller than Valid From" Fix the dates.
• "Operations Lines cannot be empty" Add an operation.
• "Basic Data - Line ID: ... - Resource cannot be empty" Open the Resource link and add a resource.
• "Production Order - Quantity cannot be zero or less then zero" Enter a quantity.
• "Sequence cannot be zero or negative" / "Hour cannot be zero" / "Hour cannot be negative" Fix the sequence or the hours.
