Number Range
A number range says how a document number is built: its parts (fixed text, a field of the document, a date part, the running counter), where the counter starts and ends, and the step.
What it is for
Each line on Rules is one part of the number, in order. A part can break the count: with the year as a break part, every year counts from the start again; the log at the top shows the counter per break value, and can be corrected there. Ranges are tied to screens on Process Number Range.
Predefined ranges ship with the product and cannot be deleted.
