How do I send customer invoices to the tax authority's digital invoicing?

When the company and the invoice journal allow the authority, every posted invoice in the company's currency dated on or after the integration start is sent to the portal on save. Invoices not sent can be sent in a batch with Invoice Released.

Steps

  1. On Account Receivable Setting tick Allow Edit FBR Information, so the HS Code and authority unit show on lines.
  2. On each Customer Invoice, fill the Invoice Address and every line's HS Code, and do not bill cost elements to the customer. Save as Posted: the invoice is sent.
  3. For invoices not sent, open Invoice Released, pick Till Date, Transaction Type and the invoices, and Save. Read Released, Portal Response and Tracking Number on each line.

Check it worked

  • The invoice carries the authority's number, shown on collections in the authority invoice column.

If something looks wrong

  • "Invoice Address is Mandatory for Authority Portal" / "Line ID: ... HS Code is Rquired for Authority Portal". Fill them.
  • The posting date changed to today. The journal does not keep the transaction date for authority invoices.
  • Credit memos. Memos cannot use digital invoicing; use a memo journal without it.
