Item Transfer Request
A request for stock from another store. Nothing moves. The supplying store copies the request into an Item Transfer, in one go or in parts, and the request keeps track of what is still open.
What it is for
It lets the store that needs goods ask in writing. A manufacturing order can also create one by itself, when its site has Create Transfer Request Automatically ticked (see Site).
The one rule people get wrong: once a transfer has been made from a request, the lines already moved cannot be removed and their quantity cannot go below what was moved.
Every field in plain words
