How do I set unit prices for a launch or a new quarter?

Make a Pricing Period for the dates, then a Pricing Profile for it with one line per unit, type or sub type. Agreements dated inside the period read the price on Create.

Before you start​

  • Units completed with Unit and Unit Quantity.

Steps​

  1. Create the pricing period with Date From and Date To that touch no other period.
  2. Create a pricing profile for it with Approved Date.
  3. Add a line per price Property, Base On (Unit, Property Type or Property Sub Type), the value, Unit equal to the units' unit of measure, Quantity if the price is per area (for example Quantity 1, Price 4,500 per square foot), Currency and Discount %.
  4. Add additional charges to a line from the line's toolbar if every unit it prices carries them.
  5. Save.

Check it worked​

  • Create a test Sales Agreement dated in the period: Unit Cost is the price times the unit's size, and Discount % is filled.

If something looks wrong​

  • The agreement shows the unit's own price. No line fits: check the Unit column, the floor, the currency and the period dates.
  • "Pricing Period already Exist" The dates overlap another period.
