Stored Views and Layouts

Stored Views and Layouts holds the saved views: the way a list, help list or board is drawn, its columns, sorting, grouping, criteria, pivot and tiles. Each view is the user’s own, the company’s, or the configuration’s.

What it is for

Views are saved from the lists themselves (see Lists, boards and reports); this screen is where they can be read and changed field by field.

Who may change a view: a user’s view, its owner or a consultant; a company view, a user holding the Company Stored Views and Layouts right through a role (or a consultant); a configuration view, a consultant on the development system only. One view per list and owner can be the Default. Deleting a shared view also removes the copies handed to the people it was shared with.

The Company Stored Views and Layouts menu entry opens the same views for the company. That screen has no layout of its own in this version.
