Consumption Factor
Consumption Factor holds a named table of dated lines, each with a percentage and a quantity, meant to describe how much of an asset's use falls in each period.
What it is for
No other screen in the delivered configuration picks a consumption factor, and depreciation is not worked out from use: only straight line and reducing balance are calculated. The table is kept for reference only.

How to configure it
Nothing has to be set here for the fixed asset process to work.
Scenarios
- A machine should depreciate more in busy years. Not supported: depreciation by use is not calculated. Use reducing balance on the Asset Book, which charges more in the early years.
What it is connected to
- Consumption Unit - the other reference list of the Consumption menu.
If something looks wrong
- The save is refused on the code. The code is missing or already used.
