Asset Location
Asset Location is a list of the places the company keeps its assets: head office, the warehouse, branch 3, with an address for each.
What it is for
The Location field on the Asset Master is typed text, not a pick from this list, and no other screen picks from it. The list is kept for reference only.

How to configure it
Nothing has to be set here for the fixed asset process to work. Fill it only if the company keeps the list for its own records.
Scenarios
- Every asset must show which branch it sits in. Type the branch in Location on the asset, and use the same words as the codes kept here so the lists can be searched.

If something looks wrong
- The save is refused on the code. The code is missing or already used. Each code can be used once.
