What it is for

Copy From › Fleet Maintenance Order brings the order's lines; open Resources on a service line to see its resources. The proposal posts nothing. The invoice is made on the Customer Invoice screen in Receivables, on a journal whose billing type is the fleet billing proposal, by picking this proposal: service lines become invoice lines for the fleet service, item lines for the item.

In this release the Item tab shows a grid with no column set-up; items copied from the order appear on the Billing Proposal tab with Line Type "Items".

Every field in plain words

Totals. The Total button (or the totals panel) shows Gross Amount, Discount Amount, Net Amount, Tax Amount, Amount Including Tax. They are worked out from the lines and cannot be typed.

How to configure it

Make sure the Fleet Origin line for the fleet order exists.

Scenarios

  • A fleet operator bills its customer monthly. One proposal per customer per month, copied from that month's orders.

What it is connected to

If something looks wrong

  • Copy From says "No Data selected in Lines". Tick at least one line.
  • The Item tab is empty. Broken as shipped; the items are on the Billing Proposal tab.
