Sales Order Tracking

Sales Order Tracking writes down where each sales order line stands: a stage and the date it was reached. You give a date range and, if you like, a customer, an order or a platform; Create brings the matching order lines, and you set each line's stage.

What it is for

Some sellers, for example those selling through online platforms, follow each order line through stages of their own. This screen keeps those stages and their dates. It changes nothing on the order.

The one rule people get wrong: the stage date cannot be before the order's posting date.

Every field in plain words

Every Save adds the lines' stages to a tracking history of the order, which the Sale Order Tracking list reads.

How to configure it

Set up the stages on Stage in CRM and expenses. Give the platform on each item if you track by platform.

Scenarios

  • An online seller tracking packed, handed to courier, delivered. Once a day, create a tracking document for yesterday's orders and set each line's stage.

What it is connected to

If something looks wrong

  • "There is no Sales Order Available" - no order line matches the dates and criteria.
  • "Stage Date Cannot be exceed salesorder posting date." - the stage date is before the order date.
