What it is for

Units are picked on items, their purchase and sales units and on many documents.

Rounding Precision is the one setting the system acts on: when a quantity entered in another unit is converted into an item’s inventory unit, the result is rounded to the inventory unit’s precision. A unit for whole pieces should have 0; a unit for kilograms, 3.

  • A converted quantity shows more decimals than wanted, or loses decimals. Check Rounding Precision on the item’s inventory unit.
