Payment Day
A payment day names the days a customer pays on: every Friday, or the 1st and the 15th of the month.
What it is for
The list is kept for reference. The Payment Day field on the customer and on the payment term is hidden as delivered, and no due date or collection reads it: a customer's due dates come from its Payment Term only.
Every field in plain words
| Field | What it means | What to put |
|---|---|---|
| Payment Day | The code | Required. Must be unique |
| Name | What it is called | Required |
| Block | Retired | |
| Basic Data grid: Payment Day, Week/Month, Day Of Week, Day Of Month | One line per day: a weekday, or a day of the month | One line per paying day |
What it is connected to
- Payment Term decides due dates; this screen does not change them.
If something looks wrong
- "Payment Day can not be empty". Fill the code.
- "Payment Day already exists". Use another code.
- Due dates do not move to the payment day. By design: nothing reads the payment day.
