Service Confirmation
The receipt for services. A service bought on a purchase order (a repair, a transport job, a consultancy day) is confirmed here when it is done, the same way goods are received.
What it is for
It works like Item Receipt for Purchase Order and follows all of its rules on Save, including the posting and the vendor invoice raised afterwards. Its movement is the service receipt movement, fixed by the screen. Lines carry a site but no warehouse.
How the document is built
New, fill Posting Date, Receipt Date and Number, Transaction Journal, Site, Vendor and Purchase Order, then Create. If the order has no open service for that site the screen says "There is no Service available on site ...". Enter the quantity confirmed on each line and Save.

What it is connected to
- Item Receipt for Purchase Order - shares every rule.
- Purchase Order and Vendor Invoice - the order and the invoice.
If something looks wrong
- "There is no Service available on site ..." - nothing open on that order for that site.
- A service confirmation cannot be edited or deleted. Reverse it, after reversing its vendor invoice.
