Account (3PL)
A 3PL account is the storage agreement with one customer: who the customer is, how they pay, and the parties involved. It is a record for reference. No 3PL document picks an account today.
What it is for
It keeps, in one place, the terms agreed with a storage customer. Receipts and releases name the customer directly, not the account, and the module does not bill storage. So nothing here changes what a document does.
Every field in plain words
General tab
| Field | What it means | What to put |
|---|---|---|
| Account | The account code | A short code such as ACME-STD |
| Name | The account's name | Such as Standard storage agreement. Kept per language |
| Customer | The customer the account is for | Pick the customer |
| Payment Term | The agreed payment term | Pick a payment term. Recorded only |
| Payment Method | The agreed payment method | Pick a payment method. Recorded only |
Roles tab
One line per role a party plays for this account: Role, picked from the list of logistics roles, and Required. Recorded only.
Address and Contacts tabs
The standard address and contact grids, as on Warehouse (3PL).
How to configure it
One account per customer agreement. Fill it for reference; nothing else depends on it.
What it is connected to
- The customer (Customer In Legal Entity).
- Nothing in the 3PL documents reads the account today.
If something looks wrong
- I cannot pick the account on a Warehouse Receipt. Expected: the receipt names the customer, not the account.
- There is no Block tick on this screen. The layout has a place for it, but the screen has no Block field configured, so it is never shown.
