Package
the packages goods travel in, with their size and weight limits.
What it is for
The Freight and Forwarding screens are data capture only today: nothing in the system reads these records except the screens of this module, and nothing posts. The layout also places a description, Max Volume, Unit Family and Weight Unit, which are not set up and never show; the package therefore has no visible name.

How to configure it
Nothing beyond the list.
Scenarios
- Goods ship on standard pallets. Make a package Pallet with its dimensions and maximum weight.
What it is connected to
- Shipment Order lists packages on its Commodities tab.
- Package Type.
If something looks wrong
- Save refuses and marks the code. The code is empty, or another record of this screen already uses it. Codes must be unique; type a new one.
