Standard Role

Standard Role defines the roles ABS ships (Super Admin, Accountant, Sales…). Every client receives them, read-only, and they are kept up to date there.

What it is for

These are configuration screens: they change the product for every client that shares the configuration, so they are worked by ABS consultants, normally on the development system. At each client a standard role is brought in line with this screen: missing lines are added and rights set to this screen’s; lines a person wrote are left alone. A line is added only for a screen the client runs (Client Object). A client that wants a standard role different clones it on Roles.
