Pricing Group
A pricing group: customers or vendors who get the same prices or discounts, tied to one price model.
What it is for
Customers and vendors name a price group for prices and one for discounts. On a Pricing Profile a line for a customer or vendor price group (CPG or VPG) offers only the groups whose Price Model matches the profile's. Pricing Group Price Validation is recorded; nothing reads it today. Sales and purchase orders and quotations, journals, rental and project documents can also name a group.
